Privacy Policy

We will not give out any private information that is provided to us unless you have applied with us and your application has been accepted. We will then have to share information with a third party if we need to provide them with your mailing address or phone number to make arrangements for delivery or set up of your item/items you applied for. Your application will be stored in a private file and will not be shared beyond the board of directors.

 
Terms of Use.
 
 
     Since this is a newly formed non-profit and because it is solely run on donations the items may not be purchased as soon as your application has been approved. Please allow time for fundraising and donations to become available. If, In the mean time youo have gotten the item before we are able to purchase it for you let us know so we can move on to the next family in need. Items will be bought in the order applications are recieved and approved. If you are applying please email us or use the contact form located in the contact us part of the website. If you think we would need more information other than what is provided on the application please attach more information to the application. You will be notified as soon as a decision has been made.     
     Each family can apply and be approved no more than twice a year. The limit each family can receive in help is $3000. This number is subject to change upon agreement and approval of the board of directors. If your item/items cost more than the $3000 you will be responsible for the difference.
     No cash will be given to the families. If you apply for an item we will be responsible for buying the itemand arranging for you to recieve the item. If it is a home improvement then we will be responsible for contacting the contractor or person responsible for the home improvement for the payment. Again, if the home improvement costs more than the allocated funds listed above you will be responsible for the difference in payment.
     If your insurance approved an item and you still have a copay we will pay the copay as long as it does not go over the $3000 limit set above. We also will help pay shipping fees and traveling costs if you have to go pick it up yourself.    
     Travelling costs will not be given to you in the form of cash. If you need a hotel room we will work with you to find and book a room that suits your needs. Gas money and food money will come in the form of gift certificates and gas cards. This is to protect us from misuse of cash. For us to help you with travelling costs we need at least a two week notice to make arrangements.  
     To qualify for services with us you have to have a legally disabled family member living with you. Just because you apply does not mean your application will be approved. There are certain conditions that have to be met for approval. Once you apply your application will be looked over by the board of directors who will then get together and decide if the item/items you are applying for are items that the organization intended to help families with. Depending on what you ask for help with we may require more information before we could make a decision.
